On Friday 20th January the Village Hall was packed to overflowing for a unique event. Anthony Green RA introduced his new self-portrait set in our local landscape. A few photographs here give you a taste of this remarkable work.

Next, Dr Sue Oosthuizen gave a fascinating talk explaining that there are clues to be seen in our local landscape which show that it has been continuously worked for several millennia. This fact alone makes this patch of territory around the Eversdens particularly precious and worth  safeguarding.

Then there was time  to meet and chat with friends over a drink. With no pub in the village, could this format meet a real need? Your thoughts, please.
