| First Village Film Night 19th January 2007
"A good night out at the
pictures" was the overall verdict. "The Ladykillers" -
American version - turned out to differ somewhat from the original (!) but
still entertained. The equipment triumphed. The near sell-out audience
made the most of this great way to get together, staying on to chat until
late. Profit was not the prime motive but the event will contribute to village hall funds. Worth doing? Certainly.
The next film will be chosen in response to ideas from the audience.
